Im sorry if u set up a macro in a ice belt and u get effected....But any 'real' miner should see that if a rifter warps on top of them in a ice belt....get the hell out, simple as that. I have spent 10 minutes bumping people around before i called in the crew to gank them....
It would be fine if Anti-Mac players could contain themselves somewhat,but they can't.
I have been Ice mining for nearly 2 years,I was doing it before long before Highsec POS came into the game.
What I am seeing now are players flying around the ice belts and disrupting any and all players they find there,Jump Miners,Large Gangs,Small Gangs,High Intensity Ops Low Frequency Ops,NPC Corps,Dummy Corps Ect.
They don't differentiate they aim to kill anything they can,and loot the wrecks.
If they were serious they would war-dec but they don't.
Its about low risk Empire,PvP? and Isk making than about antimac,for many now.
Since the uptake of high sec POS R&E and spiralling
Ice prices I would say in the last 2-3 months 60-70% of the players I come across are like this,so its only getting worse.
This I guess is the problem when you allow or by your silence promote your player base to take care of an apparent problem with Isk Selling in your game.
The best response I ever saw was Chribba's.
Deal with the root of the operation the Isk Broker,this damages their operation far more than killing barges.
Venkul is spot on,in his assessment.
Running around the Empire Ice belts ganking miners is doing nothing but aiding the sellers,and alienating the playerbase.
Really CCP need to sit down and re-assess this,maybe add a dedicated investigation squad,who can speed up the targetting and removal of the Isk Selling
Networks,if Chribba can do this in his spare time without database access,i'm sure CCP could do this.
